Those were nice safes, but they didn't give an option for dual redundant locks.

I want my wife to use my safe, and I know she won't use it unless it has a electronic lock.

I originally was going to get a smaller safe, as I couldn't get more then a 27Dx40W in my office. She said for me to go ahead and get the one I want, as long as it was "maroon" and It would fit in a designated spot in our bedroom.

She lets me get away with so much, and still gives me head once a week after being with her 8 years.

Yes I have an electronic lock on my safe. That's the only way to go. I went with black chrome accents.

        Well..houston local.

It was the same safe, I assume there is only one?

Lone Star Safe Co. on I-45/1960

They might have just had it on loan?

They are in Utah, so yes there must be more than one. It's on their website, they do offer them for sale. I presumed it was a promo piece, but sounds like they have sold some. It may be on loan, but I know it was at SHOT show as well. Not exactly the easiest thing to ship to your vendors for promotional use.

Why the fuck would anyone want to buy one of those?

Big collector is my guess. Personally I would think building a safe room would be cheaper. But that's presuming you can do the work yourself. For the rich paper jockey that might be a solution that makes sense.

Wife and I just closed on our house and I'm already thinking about ways of turning the closet in "my room" into a giant safe.
                  Anyone done this?
Any recommendations on materials to use or stay away from?
                  Any companies that do this?

Yes, lots of companies do that.

I was to the point if I was going to spend 10k on a safe, I would much rather spend a little more and build a bunker/room.

Looks like tractor supply is going to have their cannon 48 gun safe on sale for black friday at $699.99

                      TS5940DLX

Is this a good safe? Or are there better options at that price point?

Or they have a winchester 24 gun for 549.99. It has more locking bolts, 12 total encompassing all 4 sides, they are larger than those on the cannon, and the fire rating is a little better at 1400 degrees for 30 min vs cannon at 1200 degrees at 30 min
