I wasn't sure at first either. I figure I'll send it in and get it fixed and decide what to do later. If I ever start spending money to upgrade a rifle it likely won't be this one.

Has anybody sent their rifle in yet? How long did it take you to get it back? I have a 700 AAC-SD that has the X-Mark trigger and the closest place to have it fixed is in Comanche.

We just sent back a couple dozen. No one has post-recall guns, except the ones that came out fixed with the non-fixed guns. Yes, they knowingly shipped good and bad guns at the same time.

I put my info in their system the day I posted this and I still haven't gotten the boxes / shipping info.

I guess they are too busy consolidating companies and laying off employees.
I'm not in a huge rush right now but I would like to have this thing back for hunting season.

Just buy a timney and be done with it. The X Mark trigger is trash anyway...

I had a feeling this was the case. I had an issue with a Ruger about 5 years ago and was pleasantly surprised at the 2 week turnaround. From what Remington is describing as the issue, it would take a gunsmith 5 mins to inspect and correct if need be. I can't believe the small number of authorized repair centers.

Can't find them because everyone with a Remington 700 subject to recall have already bought them.
eBay looks to have some and amazon as well.

                          That's kind of my point.

Me too. I'm going to call and get ETA before I ship. I need the gun for an elk trip in October

I got an e-mail, no box yet though. If it took over a month to get an e-mail I am assuming the rifle will take quite a bit longer.

Did you ever find a way to get a suppressor for that trip?
