  • SWFA grand opening buys

I bought a Savage .17 Bmag and a ND3 laser with mounts to mount to my scope. Not many great buys but they did have everything in stock and on display. It's on 287 between Midlothian and Waxahatchie.

American Hunter brings you the latest and most important news from around the firearm industry, including new guns, gear, accessories and updates from manufacturers.

Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.

I was up there today too. Lots of ammo in stock. The building looks pretty bad pass.

I've been driving by there for several months wondering if and when it would finally open. Guess I'll have to go check the place out.

I went, I saw, I thought it was a really nice place. The retail section is not huge but that building is their headquarters, warehouse, and distribution / shipping center. It is about 1 mile from my house so I will go there as long as the prices stay reasonable which they were yesterday.

I've read about a lot of people having issues with it. Biggest problem is mounting a scope, too low of a mount, and you won't be able to move the bolt.
