Bought a new gun.

M&P shield 9mm. To Replace my sig 226 as my daily carry, This gun feels so damn good in my hand, did not have a chance to shoot it yet, but I just know this Little gun is not going to disappoint me.

Who else has one of these shields. And what are your thoughts on this gun?



Also ordered one of these badass, McCabe's handmade leather IWB trackable holster. Around time sucks Around 14 weeks.

Going to leave it alone. Probably just an extended slide release. But later on if the finish gets really bad I'll probably DuraCoat it.

I hear they are pretty accurate considering it's size.

They're not bad shooters but they're not great shooters either, IMO. Never thought I'd say I wanted something with a wider grip, until I shot the Shield. Didn't care for the stock trigger, felt too mushy to me. I wanted to like it more than I did.

Like I said it's just going to be a CCW Only. Maybe later on, i'll add the apex trigger and sear, and maybe some MeproLight sights. That's it.

I love mine. Ill probably do a trigger job at some point, but compared to other polymer 9mm guns of the same size it was the best shooter of the bunch.

To me the shield feels better, But I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I did not like the one I shot at all. It had one of the worst triggers I've ever felt on a gun. The bore axis seemed very high as well which made it no fun to shoot for me. I'll try to shoot an xds to compare.
