    300 Blackout Ammo

    Anyone done any hunting with this caliber? Looking for suggestions....

    I'll be doing that pig hunt, I mentioned a week back, where I'll take one with the KSG and then plan to take another with the 300AAC.

    Let me know and let me know a local or online source if aware.

        You can run light bullets and shoot pigs and deer just fine.

          Scored some Barnes TAC TX 110gr Black Tips as well as some Nosler 125gr ballistic tips which a buddy of mine loaded up...

            I shot a pig in the head with a 125gr ballistic tip at 2250fps out of my 9.5" barrel and it didn't exit, blew up inside. So it's pretty damn effective. But can't speak for killing power, that pig was killed with a MAC-10.

                      Usually a head shot drops them on the spot. Typically the don't even twitch that's my favorite shot provided the head isn't worth keeping.

                        I've killed many with the 300 Win Mag and with bow/arrow. They will definitely be a head shot victims with the 300BLK and another with rifled slug through the KSG. Field report to follow on the 31st.
