Thinking of buying a revolver

I really like the gp100. Advice me on what barrel length to buy, 4" or 6"? What else should i look at at that price point? What do yall have? Anyone any comments on magna porting?

I would strongly urge you shoot a 686 before you buy anything.

The 686 is a very good revolver. Probably the best revolver for the money out there. I have had a GP100, it's a good revolver, the trigger isn't that great though, the 686 has a much smoother action.
