Having so many ARs and working on them all the time, I invest in small parts for no reason just to have spares. I am the king of unscrewing a buffer tube completely forgetting about the buffer retainer and spring. The fucking king I am. So much that at the last show I picked up a few just in case.
Moral is get what you need now and then call model one sales and order a handful of this and that, cheap insurance and just in case....kind of like tits on a nunFuck you. We're going to Costco.

Spares always come in handy, seems like 25% of the LPK's I get are missing something and sometimes have 2 of something else!
And then you have some dipshit (me)start the bolt release roll pin in too far to get the release in, try to punch it back out and it bells the end so it won't come out, have to push it almost all the way in, cut with dremel, push in again and cut till it is out....of course I didn't have a spare one but luckily Turner Hardware had the correct size.....and this is after building 11 of them!

Have you ever drilled and tapped the hole for the bolt catch roll pin to use a 308 style screw? I thought about this when I f'd up my roll pin and had an extra 308 screw but since the hardware store had the correct pin I didn't try it. Looks to be a 6-32...
