Buying off of a consumer shelf just to resale for your own personal "business" needs is BS imo. If you want to buy, markup and resale, become a fuck in dealer them. Call some manufactures up, work out a deal and wheel and deal away.

Don't take away consumers ability to price shop, that just turn it into a monopoly in a sense. In any other fact of life it would be universal frowned upon (gas, beer, porn...etc)

But whatever, one reason I don't want a .22, they aren't cheap to shoot anymore due to the secondary consumer market that has developed.

.22 is still my favorite gun (pistol/rifle) to shoot. I have been able to jump on these .22 deals people keep posting, so I'm set.

Just set an alert on slick deals for ammo and you'll usually be able to get some before it sells out.

Or, we can discuss over a cold beer, assuming you partake. I'll get the first round.

To me it's no different than a gas station owner who raises the prices if there is a shortage. Hasn't that happened in the past in hurricane country? Store owners will raise prices knowing people will need gasoline even though there is not a shortage at the time.

There is a difference. People need gas, food, and water. We do not need gold, silver, and lead.

I beg to differ, it's the same mentality of hoarding and taking advantage of the situation. In the situations where gas, food, and water are priced artificially high because of a natural disaster (storms/weather) they eventually return back to normal. Sure it's not a necessity but as far as the ammo thing, how long has that been going on?

Here's the difference: You need gas, food, and water. You don't need gold, silver, or ammo.

You can't live without the 1st and it's a need.

You can live without the 2nd and it's a want.

I can understand people being pissed because the gougers drive up the price of ammo. It's no fun for me either. I buy when it's low and don't buy when it's crazy high like it has been for 6-8 months.

If someone can make a buck, good for them. I'm just not buying as I don't need it to keep living.

Does ammo become a need if the apocalypse comes?
