  • Need some AR15 pricing help please

I have a guy wanting to give me one in trade, and since I know very little, I will rely on yall.

"Its a bushmaster upper, with a plum crazy polymer lower 5.56/223"
Im uploading the pic he texted me. Give me a second on that.

What is a ballpark price that this is worth? I'm not sure Im interested in keeping it.

Not all and actually Plum Crazy is a pretty reputable dealer of the choices out there for Poly lowers.

I see Poly lower AR's with big name uppers go for $6-750 all day depending on the setup. Though, you can get a brand new one for right at $600 all day long.

          Just my .02

If you do keep that, I'd be interested in the lower. Thinking of doing a light weight pistol like a few folks on hear have done.

If I do make the trade, I dont think that I would be taking it apart, I would rather sell it whole.

I have a stripped poly lower I'd be willing to part with if you're interested. It's from this thread:

I have an opportunity to get some New Frontier Poly lowers. Would anyone be interested at $80 plus sales tax? If there is enough interest I will pick up 10 or 20. They won't last long so I will have to make a decision today.

If it's on a 4473 as a rifle, you can put that license you're shooting for at risk.

Isn't it a rifle receiver forever once it's had a stock attached?

Thanks for the quick heads up gents. He did want me to assume a grand in trade value, like I expected he was.

well, first he tried to offer me a whored out 77 camaro, now its a $500 ar15. Sounds like he could round up everything he has and maybe cash his income tax check and get there.

I wonder if this is a carry over from the guys that went out and paid 3x the price for guns during the OMG NO MOAR GUNZ scare a few years ago? Maybe he paid well over what its worth...
