  • what pellet gun?

It has been a long time since I have bought a pellet gun. Really want to mess around with one in the backyard just for fun but there are so many that are over 1000fps these days. Do any of you guys have a preference or brand to stay away from.

Damn! I was going to recommend a Benjamin .22 (mine's 40 years old, shoots great!) but that Dragonclaw is a bad mofo.

I have a Daisy Powerline 880 and 2 Crosman something or others. The 880 is a great pellet gun, smooth pump, great accuracy and power.

Like David said, I think the gamo's kinda set the bar these days

              RWS and gamo

If you could find a RWS , their one of the best. Mine burnt up in a house fire. I have a silent cat Gamo that's just ok.

I really want to do a nitro piston conversion and see how it affects the accuracy and feel of the gun. However, I don't wish to deal with shipping the rifle off to have it done. After what it took to break it down to work on the trigger, I feel fully confident I can replace the components needed. Last time I dug around a little for info and parts, no one would sell the parts without doing the install. The cost was cheap enough, I just desire to do it myself.

For plinking c02 kicks ass. Its cheap, no pumping, semi auto fire etc. When I was a kid I didn't like bb rifles because it took so long to get one shot off.
