  • AR15 hand gaurds slightly loose

I have a BCM upper with stock hand gaurds. They seem to wiggle a tad bit. Maybe I am being picky but my other cheap ass PSA upper doesn't do it as much, so I was wondering if there was a fix.

LOL ....it just kinda sucks when the BCM upper costs more than a complete PSA ar15. I think I am going to swap hand guards from one to the other and see if that fixes it or just moves the problem to the other gun. Then if it doesn't solve the issues I will install a new weld spring on the BCM upper

FIXED. The PSA hand guards are a much better fit on the BCM upper. Just to be clear though. The BCM upper I bought didn't come with hand guards. The loose fitting ones were some cheap shit from optics planet.

Put a free float on it and be done.

Pull the handguards off and see if the front handguard cap is seated sight against the front sight block. If it is, check tension on the delta ring on the barrel nut, if it seems strong it's just an out of spec barrel or handguard. (It wouldn't be the first time I saw something out of spec on a BCM rifle)

Check above. The loose hand guards are loose on the PSA gun and thats where I will leave them. The ones that came on the PSA upper are now on my BCM and they are nice and tight.
