    Anyone have any tips, insight, thoughts, opinions. etc etc on determining ring height?

              Ring height will vary depending on type of base used plus objective diameter and main tube diameter.

                Yeah, I found a calculator that lets you input base, rings, scope, cover etc.

                I wasnt thinking from as close to barrel perspective, but from a shooter/head placement/looking through the scope perspective.

                  Stock design can play a larger role than most think. If the stock doesn't have a large enough cheek rest then are large objective scope isn't going to do the shooter any good.

                      Should be fine but if a large objective like the NF 56mm a adjustable cheek piece or stock pack may be needed.

                          get the scope as close to the bore line as possible and use your stock to adjust your relief and cheek weld.
