  • My first deer mount/taxidermy.

    Ive been helping the local guy fleshing and tanning for a month now.

    I finally got to try and mount one of my own. Ive prob got 28 hours in it at this point. It still has to dry, pull pins and apoxie and paint.

    Looks great! Its even got the coaster ready for the dr pepper can obits head.

            Depends on the quality Dochtr. This is more competition mount with ear liners, all seams hidden, thinned, glass eyes, nictating menbrane, spetum in nose, and so on.

            A standard deer mount that you see has bondo in the ears, and missing alot of detail. You can slam one of those out in about 8-10 hours of work. Thats fleshing, tanning it, thinning it, mounting it, and painting.
