Can you pay with a credit card now?
You use pay.gov and it will give you a code, you input that in to the eform system and you're paid.

I had the same problem with size and I just re-scanned using 150 dpi bw instead of 600 color. Went from 5mb to 1.5mb in 1 minute flat. As a document there was little to no difference in quality.

Question. Do you have to have a suppressor to file for one, and buy one later on?

          Huh?

You file for the tax stamp after you buy the suppressor.

I didn't do anything like that. It directed me to pay right there on the same screen that I was doing everything else on. I am not sure I left the site at all. I for sure did not input any code anywhere else.

Contact phaux. I am doing a suppressor right now as well and he made it painless.

                That's why I was asking.

Was the same for me when I filed for my SBR.

I wasn't quite sure what you were asking, but if I answered your question awesome!

                      This is incredibly frustrating.

This site does work right? I have tried from about noon today up until now, and they even rebooted their system according to their "reboot" schedule. I type in my trust name, address and zip code and it won't populate the city box and I cannot continue...then it just now said "unspecified error" and crashed.

Should I try at 1 or 2 am when no one else is using it?

I have had good luck around 4-5 AM.

It was really sketchy when I was doing my latest SBR but once I caught it at a good time it went fast and smooth. I had to try about 15 times though.

lol so I finally get the site to work, get about 90% through (was about to certify all information was correct) and the server goes down.

                              I didn't save...which I should have saved each step of the way...awesome

That being said, I hope this improves. The idea is great, the execution no so much. The forms and the process to do it is pretty nice. They just need to use some of their NSA server spying power to bring up a few more mirrors.

Edit: WOoHoOOO!! I caught it right after it rebooted and it was actually snappy and I was able to submit in about 60 seconds!

Hopefully the 90 day window is still accurate!

It's a shame it slowed down so much. I was one of the early submissions and I got right through the process on the first try. Now they have payments integrated which might be the reason it's slow now.
