                There is no longer a difference between SA and NSA on a license. No matter what you bring to qualify with you can still carry a semi-auto.

                      I think that they made a mistake by allowing people to qualify with a revolver and carry semi-auto. Of the hundreds of students I have taught, the percentage of them who cannot load a mag or load it incorrectly is close to 10%. So if they borrow a friends revolver to qualify and then proceed to purchase a semi, the likelihood of an accident is increased greatly.

                      The NSA-SA was silly, but the new law should have made everyone use a semi to qualify instead.
