  • Other states gun laws.

I have to drive to Ohio for a funeral next weekend and want to see if I'm going to have to leave my gun at home or not. I don't have a chl, but stay armed in my car here via the castle doc.
I have a feeling I'm going to be shit out of luck, but still would like to check. Anyone know of a website that list all the no go states or states that I need to handle my firearm differently in?
I have never had to use it but have gotten used to having it handy.
    I hate leaving home!

The Internets Premier database for Concealed Carry Handgun and Firearms Law.

Established in 1975, the Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) is the "lobbying" arm of the National Rifle Association of America. ILA is responsible for preserving the right of all law-abiding individuals in the legislative, political, and legal arenas, to purchase, possess and use firearms for legitimate purposes as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

          That one is my favorite.

OP - Make sure you not only check Ohio, but any other states you will be traveling through.

Look into the laws in OHIO for carrying in your trunk or locked glove box. No reason to be naked along the way because OHIO is full of sissies!

I looked at it quickly and I think they have the whole unloaded, locked rule up there. So he could still bring it, but it would be of no use. But I agree that it should not prevent him from taking it if driving. I take mine when we go to California.. I just empty it and lock it up once we get there.
