RRA uppers?

Anybody know the best place to purchase a 10.5" 9mm RRA upper?
I was a high bidder on GB for a rra upper with a larue rail, then caught a call and got outbid by $1 and missed it.

Rock River dealer is usually at the gun shows, plus several others may have one. Model 1 should have that configuration but it won't be Rock River......

Just checked Model 1 and their 10 1/4" 9mm base upper is $365

Yea trying to stay with rra on this one. I was thinking model 1 at first, but by the time I add in the bolt and CH it was the same price as a complete RRA. Just trying to do some shoppin around now.

By the way, Im at the station today, so I'll get your handguards shipped out tomorrow.

Yea, I see RRA is $500. They usually bring a good variety of uppers to the shows. Not sure if they will be at Mesquite this weekend.

Ok, no prob on the handguards, I'm still shopping for barrels.......

LOL, thought about putting my bumpfire lower on my 458 socom upper....but dumping a mag of that would be $$$$$$$$$$$

Already got the trust, RRA lower is inbound to my FFL. Now just waiting for the puzzle to fall into place.

Did you get one of the bumpfire stocks?

I am sending my Form 1(s) off hopefully in a few days. We have to wait for my lawyer who drew the Trust to get back with me on some address changes. Before I left the states last week I logged all my S/Ns and I am thinking of doing three SBRs but two for sure.

I really need to order 1 or a dozen of those stocks then. I might get left out.
Gas piston 11.5", .223, Gemtech G5 and a Bumpfire stock here I come.

Just so you know I tried a 10.5" barrel and it was .30" too short when I went to put the suppressor on. There was not enough room at the end of the gas block to allow the suppressor to slip all the way down. I went to a 11.5" Here is a pic of the mock up on my pistol build. You can see how close the suppressor is to the end of the gas block.

If the barrel were a 10.5" it would not have worked.


Food for thought since you mentioned a Gemtech suppressor. If your are referring to a straight thread on suppressor you might be okay but the G5 with multi-mount has to go past the flash hidder/addapter.
