Shooting 300blk on a 16" barrel both super and subsonic... Pros? Cons?

Well, not really any cons except its long. Good thing is you can cut it down when you're ready. Can't say there is any pros. It won't be any more accurate or carry much more velocity.

I am waiting on a 30p-1 as well I also am waiting on a stamp for the sbr that it will go on. I went with the red-x 7.5 assembled upper. Dirt cheap for what you get. I did pull off the gas block and put an adjustable one on it though.

I know a lot of the silencer manufacturers wont warranty their product with a barrel shorter than 9". which is why a lot of people dont go shorter

To address the OP, the 300blk after 11" doesn't gain much form having a longer barrel in terms of gas pressure.

Silencerco has no minimum. And that's on full power calibers. .300blk is by no means a full power caliber. It would be like limiting a .45 ACP can to no shorter than a 9" barrel. Nothing to worry about there. Not to mention there is no way a manufacturer could tell anyways.
