unless you are 7' tall you arent pocket carrying an XD40 SC.

my fully loaded XD40 sc was noticablly heavier than the XDS 45 when carrying IWB.

that being said i recently sold both my 40s and either carry the XDS45 or a Glock 29.

Now im also trying to figure out a good pocket/wife purse gun.

I had a sig p238 but i prefer something hammerless for the pocket or the purse..
Are you still carrying IWB without a belt? Agree with the choice of something hammerless for a pocket/purse gun. Just one less thing to snag.

I pocket my xds in a desantis E1 sleeve. It hides well in my slacks but blue jeans will print it if they fit me too close and the material is thin.

I like my S&W 642 for pocket carry in a Desantis Nemesis holster. I put on some Altamont line checkered grips and did a Wilson Combat spring kit and polished everything inside. The trigger pull went from 12 to a smooth 8 lbs.
I have been considering a P938 for something slimmer to pocket carry.

Very good gun. For the money the cw series guns blow away anything in their category.

I went to buy the kahr.. Put 5 rounds through the 40 and 380 and decided i would never waste my money on them.. Felt very aquard in my hands.. I reccomend shooting one before buying.

Fun fact: Kahr is owned by a South Korean religious cult.

Doesn't make them good or bad though.

They also don't have a trigger reset until the trigger is let all the way out

I tried one out and didn't care for the trigger at all.

On that one, the distance between the bottom of the trigger shroud and the hinge of the trigger is very small. I have large hands and my finger jams in there. I must pull the trigger with my finger tip. I guess it is made for small finger people.

My LCP is not a problem.

Did not know that. My paperwork says made in USA. I guess Koreans own a gun manufacturer in the USA.

I have long fingers so the kahr may not be too good fit for me. Luckily there is a gun show this weekend in town so I can go check them all out and see how they feel

I use the little one for a pocket carry. It fits in any pocket that I have with the holster. The trigger pull is very stiff, so it will only shoot if you mean for it too.

Why does everyone hate on the XD?
A lot of people hate modern striker fire pistols period. Reasoning gets cast aside for emotion.

The XDM compact is a double stack pistol with a 3.8" barrel. The XDS is single stack with a 3.3" barrel. The width makes all the difference for a pocket pistol.

I bought a glock 19 recently too and now I have a glock 19 for sale. The grip angle is not for me, and the glock doesn't feed as well as an XD. In the military we had the m9, and I really hate it with used magazines.

I'm a 1911 and XD guy. Sigs work too. My wife loves her CZ. That's whats great about the market, shoot what works for you. My wife has FTF on lots of pistols but not with a cz.
