I'm an XD fan, so I have an XDS 9 for my pocket gun. It should be back to me Thursday from Springfield.

I like the Kahr's for their size and feel, but I can't stand shooting them. Never shot and LCP, but I imagine it's as pleasant as shooting a Kahr. The XDS shoots almost as smoothly as my XDM9 compact and full size XD.

I am looking at the xds or xdsc in 9mm how does the xds compare size wise to the xdsc? I have a 40 xdsc and from what I have seen, the dimensions aren't much different.

Why does everyone hate on the XD?

Was thinking bout an XDs or equivalent but the XDs isn't hugely smaller than my xdsc. I've not had a problem concealing it yet and the extra rounds are a plus.

As far as haters on the XD line. I've never had a problem with mine in the 1500 plus rounds I've put thru mine and have had plenty of glock fanboys give it a thumbs up. Not that I care what they think.

I have 3 xd pistols. A full size xdm 40, 9mm compact, and xdsc 40. There's noway I could ever pull off pocket carrying any of them....you must wear some super baggy pants with huge pockets? I haven't felt a xdslim but cant see it being any better for a pocket gun.

unless you are 7' tall you arent pocket carrying an XD40 SC.

my fully loaded XD40 sc was noticablly heavier than the XDS 45 when carrying IWB.

that being said i recently sold both my 40s and either carry the XDS45 or a Glock 29.

Now im also trying to figure out a good pocket/wife purse gun.

I had a sig p238 but i prefer something hammerless for the pocket or the purse..

I almost bought a 638 yesterday. It was between that and a 360 with a hammer. I wish smith offered a blued scandium shrouded hammer frame for the air weights. I guess my only option is to Bob the hammer on a 360 or suck it up and get a humpback. I passed on both since they were locally priced as follows:

Ok. Guess some miss read my post. Not claiming to pocket carry my XD. Was saying I was considering a pocket gun but haven't had a problem concealing it so I didn't see a point in a pocket pistol.
