Benchmade for everyday carry, and a few Kershaw's (US made) are backups

I only carried Benchmades for a few years, I have owned pretty much every model with the axis lock they make. The only two BM I still have are a Doug Ritter Griptilian(great knife) and a mini-ruckus that I pretty much kept because they are discontinued and its one of the "holy grail" BM knives.

That being said, my girlfriend got me a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 for my birthday this year, and I haven't touched either of the Benchmades since. It isn't less than $100, but it is a hell of a sweet knife.

I carry a SOG Flash 1 that I picked up just because it was dirt cheap and have been surprisingly happy with it.

I used to have a few different Emerson's and Spyderco's but my favorite bang for the buck EDC knife has become the Spyderco Tenacious. Cheap (but not quality wise) EDC knife that can be had for $40-50.

And probably my favorite Emerson I've owned. CQC-14 "Snubby".

I have been happy with my Kershaw:

This Kershaw was my go to knife for years. My dad bought it for me in about 1994 while I was still in the Army. Only reason I got something new was for the one hand open:

My price range is $100 or less, it needs to be slim because I carry it in the back pocket, and I'm wearing slacks most days, so something like the Griptillian, while it may be a good knife, won't work for me. I may just get another Twitch II, but was looking for something that had all of the characteristics with a liner-lock instead of a lock-back, for easier one-handed opening and closing.

Edit: Side note - I didn't know they made the Twitch II with a wooden handle now. Kinda cool looking.

That looks cool with the wood handle! The Kershaw I linked is very slim, fyi.

Sometimes these will pop up on amazon super cheap. I picked up three of them a couple months ago for $14 each shipped.
