So this thread got me wanting a new, cheap knife. Ended up with the Gerber Remix. First knife with the open finger hole. Gotta say, i really like it.

I bought my brother in law one a couple years ago, it was a kinda cool knife. It didn't feel very solid or tight but it was cheap so, for what it is its not bad.

I have carried one of these with a string around my neck for about 8 years and love it. Still snaps in hard and holds tight. Very useful and not in your damn way hanging on your pocket.

I wasn't expecting to go toe to toe with wolverine or anything with it for only being $25, but it does feel pretty solid. No blade wobble, locks tight, and pretty stiff to open (for now.)

I went looking for a Kershaw RJI, but they were out. This was the next thing on my list.

Not as solid or sharp out of the box as a Kershaw, i bought two for under 25. But for a cheap cool looking knife, not bad.

So, I've been using the Volt II for a few days now. Everything from cutting open boxes to stripping Cat5/6 since someone stole my spinner. I'm really impressed with this knife for the $26 I paid on Amazon. We will see how long it lasts me. The only thing I wish were different were since I'm a smaller guy and have smaller hands, I wish it were about 90-95% of the size it is. It's a great size for actually doing work, and is a solid EDC so far, but it's a little bigger than I would personally like. That's okay, though, because everything else is awesome.
