My parents this year chose to get me a six shooter... They asked what I wanted in reference to a gun. They wanted to get me a gun of some sort since I struck hard times after a job change and sold amm my guns. I told them a used Ruger blackhawk would be cool. I really wanted a convertible one that took 45acp as well. Well, here's my new 4 5/8 in barrel blackhawk convertible... Sweet.

Haven't shot this one. I work this weekend or I would have visited my friend in Weatherford and shot some dirt. Can't find any target 45LC so it looks like I'll be shooting my acp. I highly doubt this simple designed revolver will disappoint me. I find these old cowboy era guns just plain sexy. When I DO go take her out to shoot, I will be taking my new lever gun out too to shoot for the first time.
