That's because they are the laughing stock of the local gun community, no one goes anymore. Give it some time, there's a reason 80% of people give it negative feedback.

I live in Mesquite so I have had several outings to Gibsons. At first I absolutely hated those assholes. Been trying ti evey now and then for about 8 years. I hadn't been in a while and this summer my g/f talked me into trying it again. She loves anything outdoors. Well I have to say that they have changed. I had a very enjoyable shooting experience and have since gone back about 6 times. Have yet to have an issue. Things seem to have completely changed.

Just so you know people were taking bets how long it would take you to say that.

If anyone is on the east side and doesn't mind a drive to Caddo Mills, check out B-Tactical. It is an outdoor range with a 25 yd covered range(shooting line is covered), a 50 yd and 100yd range. Ran by former military and no restrictions on ammo or caliber. $15 gets you a lane all day $5 extra per person per lane (limit 4 or 5 on a lane) and you can move between ranges at any time

South of Venus, North of Maypearl. I can't tell how to get there, I just know where it is.

Did he open that back up? I use to shoot there years ago, a bunch of hooligans got in and he locked it up. I stopped going after that.

I went last summer and had no problems. However, I'm always respectful and leave places like that better than I found them.
They had a long range target last time I went. It was WAY out there.

Dfwm land group buy. Set up steel targets. Dfwm only. Split the monthly cost 30+ ways and boom, you've got a cheap range.

Have no idea if that is legally possible....
