Seems like a good deal. I think Costco sells them as well.
They delivered me a safe a while back and did a great job.

I guess that would be a good deal since Costco wants 799

There's nothing wrong with buying a cheap safe, it all depends on what you're putting in it.

          Good deal? Safe

Mainly something to keep firearms, ammo and documents in a locked location so they aren't easily accessible I would prob be fine with a supper cheap safe with no fire rating just because I am not worried about fire destroying documents or anything like that. I have a cheap in wall safe now that I have a few things in along with a couple hand guns
If I could find a tall in wall safe for long guns I'd even get one of those

only 2 wires connect the lock mechanism to the inner latch, I was wondering if you could cut the 2 wires and connect a 9v to release the solonoid.

The e-lock pictured on the safe is made by Securam and is connected by 4 wires. So no you can't. These days even the Sentry's and Stack-ons have more than 2 wires. Most safes these days have a non-volatile chip inside. So any jumping of the solenoid will have to be done at the solenoid.

This looks amazingly similar to my Winchester Ranger. Is there one large manufacturer that just re brands all of these?

99% of the meth heads breaking into homes aren't safecrackers. So if not easily thrown into your recently vacated pillowcase from your bed you are good.

                    God bless.

I have that one, got it at costco last year for 579 free delivery. Łmk if you have any questions . It's a made in China safe , but like said, your average crack head breaking in won't be able to get through. I've basically got it for keeping guns away from the kids. Does its job well. I did swap out the keypad because the tactile feel of the buttons sucked, and you couldn't positively tell if had punched in a number. It's made by secure ram, pretty average low end keypad. The on I got now has nice solid rubber buttons and is a really nice upgrade. It was an easy 10 min DIY swap. The only other minor inconvenience was the stink from the Chinese glue/fire board on the inside, takes a week of airing out in the garage to get rid of.
