I thought I had a picture of mine, but apparently I don't."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

The ridges inside these hand guards are like razor blades. No matter how careful I tried threading the can on, it still left marks around the suppressor body. I noticed the play also while threading and did exactly as you just mentioned. To me it just seemed like the marks were getting worse and worse to point it is now showing bare metal on the suppressor body. It's like buying a new car and keying the shit out of it. Lol. Ugh.
I new I had to do something with the hand guard, so I took some sand paper bits with a Dremel to it and chewed through that soft aluminum. I was able to knock down the leading edges of the ribs inside and managed to flatten down the ridges to about the shoulder of the barrel, but not enough though. I need to get to a Lowes or Home Depot and look for larger sand paper bits. Might switch to a drill and completely flatten these ribs down.

Good looking rifle moto. I have a Magpul stock like that, think its the slim, that I stuffed back in its box. Lol. Wasn't what I was really expecting. For a stock that suppose to be slim, just seems big and bulky. Guess I've grown used to their CTR stocks which have a more compact look and feel to them.
Checked out that Ice compensator and it looks just like a Flaming Pig, but that's where the similarities stopped. I was hoping it had the internal baffle as well.

What are the specs of your rifle?
Palmetto State Armory lower.
CORE 15 Upper receiver
M16 bcg and Bravo Company gunfighter charging handle (best out there imo)
8.5" CMMG WASP 1:7 .300BLK barrel
9" Samson Evolution rail
Once school is paid for, I'll purchase a .30 cal suppressor. The compensator is staying on it until then. It's bare right now and it weighs just as much as my 16" AR15 with all the extra shit I have on it.Originally posted by JesterEvery time you see the fucking guy....show him your fucking dick.. The reason I was comparing the Ice Comp to the Flaming Pig is that I have a 10.5 5.56 that flat out refuses to strip another round while shooting loud. Throw a can on there and it runs great. Based off of that, I was under the assumption that the 300BLK would do the same and in order to fix it, I needed a Flaming Pig.
