The initial cost would be somewhat similar to purchasing a few hundred factory rounds.
Then just save your brass, and all you will need to buy is some powder, primers and bullets from time to time...you want to go shoot, forget having to "order" bullets, just go squeeze some off on your press and go shootin.
next to large boxer primer 762x39 .... which i found out more recently when i had primers inching out with a slow burn powder i am trying...
ne way the thread i was reading said 45auto can be reloaded to actually pretty stout levels without problem. not sure if that's smart or true.
just damn disappointing that everyone thinks 10mm is so good, but you can't 'overload' it

The reason there is this stigma about 10mm not being able to be "overloaded" (which I'm not sure what that means anyway) is because due to the "FBI" loads, many people seem to lose their bearings on what is a true 10mm round, and they go bananas on their charges. I had some 185gr XTP loads @ 1380fps and the gun and cases were perfectly fine. That is extremely thermonuclear hot. As a matter of fact, I've never seen a 10mm case fail now that I think about it. I would expect .40 to have a longer case life because it runs at a smaller pressure, and 10mm has a large pistol primer, so less depth. Most people get 10-15 reloads out of a 10mm case with standard/hot loads.Last edited by CJ; 12-19-2013, 05:48 PM."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin
