  • The quest for .22lr

Okay, I give up, I need some help finding .22. Yesterday I visited 3 walmart's and 2 academy's and didn't find shit. So far all my work has netted me a measly 200rds. Has anyone seen some in stock .22 in the last few days? Let me know if you see any.

I'd like to get at least 1,000rds to start, and then I'll keep looking after that, but that's enough for now.

Not all of it just most of it.

it's pretty damn sparse, a good friend of mine was able to grab me 600 rounds of cci over 2 days. The Denison Wal-Mart gets ammo in frequently, you just have to be there @ 5:30-6 a.m. to grab it from what he tells me.

If your willing to pay high prices cheaper then dirt in McKinney has plenty of it. But be prepared to pay for it.

I have had good luck checking slickguns early in the morning (before 4:30am) and ordering from Cabella's or the like.

I got a Remington 1400 round bucket of .22lr from the Academy by Vista Ridge Mall (Lewisville) last week. They had 3 other buckets. The next day they were gone. It was $64.99.

It's out there but it goes quick.

What is a good price to be looking for per round? Less than 15cent round? Or cheaper?

Get out of the city and into smaller towns.

Our local shop has most .22 on the shelf and can still get bricks in.
