  • I recommend as your first gun a EAA Witness. Reliable, full metal frame (read: reduced recoil), .40 is cheap, 9mm is cheaper, the weapon itself is inexpensive and it's reliable.

Oh and what they said about the gun hobby being expensive...I never knew buying a Taurus PT140 and a Mossberg 500 would turn into:

    -10 AR-15's in various configurations (2 are SBR's)
    - 2 AK's
    - 2 Shotguns
    - Moist Nugget
    - 2 .22 rifles
    - 5 pistols
    - Magazines out my ears
    - Bullets out the nose.
    - 2 safes to keep it all in.

And that is paltry compared to some of the guys on here...

You edited.. If and when I have spare money laying around I've got about 6 or 7 more I'd like to put my hands on. I'd like to have one or two in every room of the house. Hooray for not having kids!

              • Apologies, I was under the impression you didn't have a pistol yet. I've always wanted a sig, mainly a west german turn in so I wouldn't drop too much coin on it.
