    Thanks for the input!

How about the S&W Bodyguard, anyone have experience with it?

I just looked at the dimensions of the M&P 9 mm it has a thinner width than my .40, which was a complaint of hers. She didn't feel like she could get a solid grip on the gun because of the width. Other than that it has almost identical dimensions to my gun.

About half the people I know who have messed with Bersas say they are flawless, the other half reviles them. We've had this discussion before and it always and up the same; all the bersa owners say it is the bees knees and cats meow, while others say it is the worst pistol they have ever had and gunshop employees complain about the amount of them returned.

I have a smith 442 and ruger lcr you can try if y'all want to give the snubbie some consideration. I also have a Kel-tec 380 you can shoot. I don't ever carry it. It's a car gun. Let me know if you're interested.

I don't know where dochtr is drawing his opinion on Bersa from, but I can tell you the thunder .380 is a damn good gun. I owned one for a couple years and ended up trading it because I wanted a 12ga. Never had any malfunctions ect, and I thought it was a well built gun I wouldn't have a problem trusting my life with one.

While I have heard that reliability was an issue in the past. The sales rep told me that they have made some improvements in the newer models to improve this. I agree DOHCTR, it is no Sig for sure. For around 300 new its not the worse choice either!
I have sold maybe 6 or 7 to date with good results.

Another nice 380 is the Magnum Research Micro Desert Eagle. A bit pricey, but just another choice.

Colt Mustang. SS so I could carry back long ago, without consideration of the finish. It's a great gun.

Bersa had some bad problems with the cheap ass slide stops they put in the gun, and a couple of people got blown up guns because of it. If you got a good one, good for you. I'll take my chances with a slightly more reputable product.

Avoid the Taurus .380 like the plague. Fucker easily jams, it flings the casings right into your forehead, and it's difficult to chamber a bullet.

We put 50 rounds through the TCP of Stacy's with out any issues at all it does toss the casings back more than sideways but not straight back

Those are supposed to be dead tough! I had a few pocket pistols on the list when I got my 938, but if one of those micro eagles had shown up first, I'd have grabbed it.

I can only agree on the brass getting tossed in stupid directions. Both of mine are reliable and I don't have an issue chambering anything. Recoil is manageable, they lockback on the last round fired, and they only cost $200 new.
