The first ones look almost just like the Chinese mags with the spine (no fun). Are the second ones Romy mags?

Yep; I ordered 30 of them hoping that they are better quality then Tapcos.

The first ones are nice if you like the BHO on last round, which I do, and being steel they should last forever. No idea the nationality of the $10 metal ones.

Yea I thought about those but prefer the metal to the polymer mags. If the Radom mags had the BHO followers I might have gone that way.

For plinkage and suck I have no problem with tapco, I have a couple I use for my ak74 since other 74 mags are still expensive. Tapco is actually now making some slabside style ak47 mags in bakelite orange.

Tapco mags would be just ahead of promags at the bottom of my list for mags I might need to depend on for my life.

never had a issue with my tapco fakelites.

Polish Radom magazines are some of the best.

Those look like Radom mags, and they say they are.

They're not radom mags made to spec in the military factory. They're from the same area and that's about it. The feed lips aren't even steel reinforced and the reviews from everyone who bought them is that tapco even trumps them. There's a reason they're dirt cheap. Steel mags all the way for the price is what I use and love. I like bakelites but mine are so nice looking I'm afraid to use them and they're not cost practical

                    A few reviews:

They don't quite get the whole capitalism thing all the way yet.

All Radom mags or just the ones with the metal reinforcement at the lip? Those look to be all polymer

The mil spec old school radom mags are good stuff. The ones that aim has for sale, as stated, suck. They are 100% polymer with the exception of the spring and baseplates. The good ones have steel reinforced feed lips. If you do not have these, the constant feeding of the rounds wears out the polymer feed lips and you're left with a paperweight eventually.

They feed fine and I use one of their short models for range shooting but the mag is weak. If you drop a rifle with a fully loaded 30rd mag onto its butt the mag will break off at the mag catch and will scatter rounds everywhere while the follower tries to hit you in the balls. Dropping the rifle horizontally onto the mag will also break it. The best mags are the circle 10s, just about any metal surplus mag, and I have heard but do not know first hand yet that the US Palms are the cats meow.
