I'm curious if anyone on here has ever owned a 40mm M203. I'm seriously considering building an M16A2 w/ M203. No good reason since HE Grenades are stupid expensive and you have to be certified to store them. But, it's a good conversation piece, and they are not too expensive. And I've always thought they looked badass when I was a kid, and I want that shit. It looks like there are many 40mm grenade types available but they are expensive as shit. But, it looks like you can reload them pretty easily.

I have a 203 that I did a form 1 on. I've never shot it. Personally, other than saying you own a grenade launcher they're just not that fun without cool stuff to go with them. For $1500 I'd spend my money else where.
Reloading is hit or miss for practice rounds. Your always scrounging up components and honestly it's kind of a pain in the ass. There is a company that is selling factory seconds on gunbroker (of the 200 Rnds I've bought they look brand new) for $3 shipped. Best prices in a long while.
All that said, I'm getting rid of my grenade launchers. They're probably the least exciting and pointless gun I own.

Okay, yeah that's the one I'm going to use. I guess the carry handle sight is an older model.
and damn, that M16 is worn the fuck out."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

Funny how M79s show up in modern pictures of Iraq and Afghanistan every now and again:
