It looks like you strapped a brick to your hip, then Velcroed your gun to the brick.

That holster is about as concealable as trying to hide a potato in the pocket of some skinny jeans.

As for the performance of the holster ... there are much much better options for slightly more money.

Edit: If that is a colostomy bag or a tumor, you have my apologies.

I just picked up a Mitch Rosen pancake holster for my Ruger LCR for this very reason (not to mention I got a great deal on it). I'll add that by design it hugs the body a lot closer than a paddle holster.

I have two holsters: one for casual (iwb minotaur like a crossbreed) and a polymer one designed for tucking your shirt into. IMO, you need a holster for each situation.
Very true. But read my original post. I wasn't asking about abilitity to carry concealed. Only about a holster.

I have been putting serious thought into picking up some sort of .357 revolver/pancake rig. Just cant decide on a J frame or something a bit larger. Like a 686 plus.

How are you planning on using it? Most shooting competitions wont allow you to use Fobus last I checked. Most ranges in the area prohibit you from drawing from a holster.

How are you going to protect yourself with a firearm if you can't carry it concealed effectively? We're not trying to bag on you man, we're just trying to show you how it's practical. Dig?

I dig that. Been on here long enough not to get butt hurt. But I'm less worried about the best way to conceal it as am the best way to pull it. And owb seems to work better for me. Doesnt mean anyone else is wrong.

I'm not saying OWB is wrong. But that holster is shitty..

I can't think of a single thing that a Fobus holster does better than a thousand other that are on the market. My largest issue with them is they can be difficult to draw from due to how flexible they are. They just don't have enough support. If it were me, and I was looking for a cheap paddle to carry around the house I think I would look at the Blackhawk serpa.

They can be had for $10-$15 more than the Fobus.

Now some people will advise to not buy the serpa because of how the retention system works. There have been reports of soldiers low crawling in a war zone and a rock jams the release, there also have been a few morons that have shot their self due to bad form and too many movies (Tex Grebner from Illinois.)

Either way you have to lift your shirt first to get to it. IWB just makes it less obvious before the fact.

BTW, you might as well wear a neon green shirt with pink letters that say "I HAVE A GUN" with as much printing as is going on in those pics.

That surprises me. Cuz I have had no issues drawing from the fobus. The gun comes out clean with no flexibilty issues.

OWB is fine and dandy. Check this out, though:
