  • RPKs at JG Sales

Anyone else take a chance on one?

    RPK @ JG Sales

I like things you don't see too often and at $499 if I hate it I should be able sell it easily enough. No bipod though so I will have to see what I can do about that. I ordered a surplus bipod in case I can figure out what to do about a collar for it.

Edit - It came in today! 2 days from the day I ordered it. Will clean it up and hope to see how it shoots in the morning. Pic with the rest of the family

I have a RPK aes10b and it's been a great gun. I love to shoot it, especially with the drum. Great buy!

          Bipod solution:

Looks like this is what is recommended:

If the info in the thread is correct, then this bipod on GunBroker isn't technically correct, because a real RPK would come with a bipod with adjustable legs. However, for the price and what is readily available, it will suffice.

Nice! Ordered on before the enter unicorn status like the proper collar has.

Still don't own an AK. So torn between this and the O-PAP they have on the cheap.

Go for the RPK. You always see AK's for sale, you don't often see RPK's at this price. Plus it's a cool factor as they're not too common.

I couldn't pass one up for the price. I'll see if I can get my dad to fab up a part on the lathe/mill to make the bipod work.

If you traded a wasr for it then yes.
