  • Remington 870 20 gauge

I ordered a Hogue Stock Tamer Shotgun Pistol Grip for my Remington 870 20 gauge, but when I put it on it didn't quite fit. It is fully functional, but looks like shit. I did a lot more digging and finally found that this is a known thing. Well now I'm wondering if I should mod it to fit better and live with it, or if there is another grip out there I don't know about?

also how the heck do I get these out?

I'd send it back and get a refund. The stock it came with will be easier to shoot with. Speed feed makes a good product. You might look at the Speedfeed III stock. It's a pistol-grip on a full buttstock. It just about doesn't get more controllable than combining the two.

i think 20 ga. pumps are pretty useless, especially in a home defense version.

only thing i would shoot a 20 ga. for would be bird and maybe clay in an autoloader or o/u

Dude, his wife is like 4'3", he has a daughter to take shooting, and he already has a Mossberg 12ga. I'd say he's covering the bases nicely.

Right. Keep the tweenie, but the quality of that grip is sub par. Send it back with those pics. I'd honestly keep the stock stock for the ladies.
