We bought a couple of them 15 yrs or so ago at a gun show. Impulse buy!
My dad bought the "barrel extension" fake supressor with his.

I really need to buy a safe....
I wonder how much it is to have someone take one like that upstairs..."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"

You find some people and get a good dolly, I'll help if you're in the Plano area. My safe was only about 750ish pounds but required 2 people simply due to size. It is not massive, but too big to get grips on the otherside of it.
Ground level it easy as heck if you have a hand truck with rubber wheels to absorb bounces and not damage floors.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

My house only has one closet down stairs, and it's not big enough to hold all my guns. My only choice is upstairs.
Honestly need two safes, one for the guns, and one for the ammunition."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government"

I'm going to pelican cases for my ammo. No idea why, but they can hold the weight and you can divide them up easily enough. Via craigslist and so forth you can grab various sizes at a decent price. Airtight, waterproof...etc. Easy to carry.
Of course, I don't really have THAT much ammo at this point and am trying to stay at 4 different calibers.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

Anyone know a good local place to buy those door organizers? I'd like to look at it before I buy it. I was hoping more for a non-safe place if possible. (In my experience, the safe places are expensive)Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

Yes sir. I see no difference from my perspective from Storm, Pelican or those Hardigg cases. No even in price. (I know one or the other is the same company now)Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.
