    Deal or no deal? Ruger .45 ACP & Dan & Wesson .357 9in

    A coworker of mine has the two aforementioned handguns, which he wants to sell. The Ruger has only had 8 rounds through it, and the Dan & Wesson appears to be in top shape. Included with them is 3 full boxes of .45, an extra magazine, and a streamlight w/laser attachment on the Ruger. Of course, both have cases.

    The ACP is stainless and black (only bought it a month or two ago), and the DW has the wood grip w/ 9in barrel.
    $1200 is his asking price

    I'm not absolutely sure what these are worth. If it's even an "OK" deal, I'll buy them. I just want to get a good collection going.

    It depends on which .45 we're talking about, but it's probably worth it with the DW in the mix. Those are good guns.

            I don't know the value of the DW but the sr's can be had for just over $400, the .45 version has not been out very long.

                  The Dan Wesson isn't worth more than $500. Great guns, but they don't command that much coin.

                          Which is sad. They are every bit as well built as the other popular wheel gun manufacturers.

                            I once bought one of their P94's for $230 dollars. It was a Tank of a gun, but replacement magazines are higher than giraffe...eyebrows.
