Cabelas in Allen has shelf after shelf stacked high with the stuff. Ironically the only ammo I couldn't find there was for my Marlin 30-30. There are currently no limits on how much you can buy except on .22lr.

No actually....a lot of it was really cheap...about like the cheap 7.62x39 I buy.

Yes. Not a ton of it but they had several boxes of Hornady critical defense and various other JHP defense rounds...and a few dozen boxes of target rounds too.

I think I saw .223 for $8 a box last time I was at the one in Allen. They have consistently had a bunch in stock every time I've been there lately.
