That's what I was thinking. Especially if it has the rail. I wouldn't mind picking up one of the new 30SF's for under $500 but otherwise I've got my mind set on a XDm 3.8 .45 compact.

          wierd glock thing i suppose.
          It's not a weird Glock thing. It's a standard striker-fired gun thing.

oh ya? then how come my xd40 doesnt do the same, genius?

i understand it needs to be cocked again to reset the firing pin, what i'm saying is i'm not used to a gun, loaded or not, having the trigger not come back forward after pulling it, similar to my xd (striker-fired)

oh and i like the gun. put 102 rds through it today but had 4 light primer strikes. was using aguila target ammo, which obviously i wont be carrying while on my person. gunsmith looked it over said it all looked fine.

shot great, not as snappy as i anticipated.

                Different gun is different.

buddy was strapped for cash and he had several other pistols

he has a glock 9mm too. unsure of model though

no rail, which is completely fine with me. it's going to be my carry

I hate taking advantage of someones misfortune but that's life and when the best deals can be had. Newer 30's have a rail. Sounds like a solid carry piece.
