As for the minime I would have to agree, that is in no way a legacy weapon. The XMG MG3 conversion upper for the AR15 is the perfect example. Everyone knows an upper is not a gun, but when the XMG upper came out for the AR15, the ATF banned the gun. It's possible it is because it is a caliber difference (5.56mm to 7.62mm), and the Shrike is allowed and that may be because it's 5.56mm. So, it is possible that might be what the ATF weighs heavily against. But, in my opinion this is just way out in left field.
