Someone just needs to write the ATF a letter. Maybe some machine gun guys can do it and burn some more bridges.

Fuck that shit, do not write the ATF any letter. Every time someone writes them a letter we lose more freedom. The problem is we have a lot of inexperienced people asking badly composed questions which result in a blanket memo that bans something that could have possibly been allowed if written better.

As for the minime I would have to agree, that is in no way a legacy weapon. The XMG MG3 conversion upper for the AR15 is the perfect example. Everyone knows an upper is not a gun, but when the XMG upper came out for the AR15, the ATF banned the gun. It's possible it is because it is a caliber difference (5.56mm to 7.62mm), and the Shrike is allowed and that may be because it's 5.56mm. So, it is possible that might be what the ATF weighs heavily against. But, in my opinion this is just way out in left field.

Only letter I've written was for CLEO clarification in 08. I broadened the horizon.

Yep, that be a 21. The problem is that it really depends on who made it. Most of them do not run very well, a notable exception are the ones that Urbach built.

The 21e is far better corrected for the system that when the 21 series first started. Even early factory guns were shit. The problem with the 21s on our transferable market is that a lot of them are built on donor 91 receivers and either don't have the proper reinforcements or they're just done poorly. Most of which depends on who built the gun.

In my opinion, they're all shit and just unpleasant to shoot.

From what I've been told by people who have real 21's, all of them are junk, and one of the worst/most unreliable belt feds made.

I have never heard much positive about them. Jason over at ident had one And recommended that I not buy one, not because of unreliability but rather it not being comfortable to shoot. That being said, the receivers are very stout. The reinforcements performed on a model 21 are pretty incredible. My MSG90 Shares a lot in common with a 21 in that they both have rails welded on to stiffen the receiver. They also have the same sights, carrier, etc.
