  • M249 H&K sear host

Well that can't be legal. Also a 23 is cheaper!

Don't these use HK trigger packs/groups?

Also a 23 may be cheaper, but I've heard parts are a bitch to locate or ridiculously expensive.

I would assume that they use HK trigger groups if they will accept a sear. The selector looks like an HK selector too. However I just remember the BRP MG34 upper on M16 lowers being denied, as well as the RPD mac upper getting denied.

But 23 parts are now made by Michael's Machines so there is a source for parts.

Why would it be illegal? People use M16 fire control groups on their G3's.

It is definitely a non-legacy weapon and the ATF has been pretty douchey about belt fed uppers and attachments.

Didn't know if they used HK packs or not and just made a sear work.

I'm guessing the ATF will shut them down. But then again they allow the 5.56 Mac conversion.

Well, they do for now. They once allowed the m16 brp upper but went back on it.

If Keith sold 5% of his AR15s, he could afford a transferable minigun.

Someone just needs to write the ATF a letter. Maybe some machine gun guys can do it and burn some more bridges.
