Can't wait to see how accurate it is
After one Academy and two Walmarts I struck out with no ammo. I was surprised I saw a descent amount of .45, .40, 9mm, and even .380. But no .22 or .38/.357.

Hell someone should come up with an ammo finder app

So I went to the range Saturday afternoon and got a chance to shoot the LCR for the first time. Also brought along my Taurus M85 as a comparison and a Kimber Ultra Carry to keep things interesting. Unfortunately the range (Bullseye in Duncanville) doesn't allow Magnum rounds so there went that, but it gave me a chance to shoot .38 Specials back to back between the two revolvers.
The Taurus is noticeably heavier but both it and the LCR shot relatively the same. I was all over the paper with the revolvers at 10 feet. I don't know if it was a combination of bad sights, short barrel, or double action triggers. Switched back to the Ultra Carry and I was back to shooting the inner circle easily.
After 50 or so rounds the LCR was shooting a little easier but it's no target shooter compared to the Ultra Carry with it's single action trigger. Also I noticed after several rapid fire strings both of the revolvers where getting hot and harder to unload. The LCR is certainly not going to win a gun battle across the parking lot but I'm pretty confident I could hit a man size target at night if need be and I'm reasonably comfortable with loading it with either the HKS Speedloader or the Tuff Strips (although it was a little harder). Also either revolver was harder to load once it got hotter due to physically having to touch hot parts. Wish I could have shot some magnum rounds but next time I'll hit up a different range.
