If they make it so that legal potential owners of NFA items cannot purchase NFA items in any reasonable amount of time, then people will just forgo the legal methods and build illegal weapons or the amount of ex"legal" weapons on the black market will go up. If there is money to be made, someone is going to make it.

Wait for 3d printers to evolve and then nothing is impossible ever again.

In talks with my scholarly father another question we thought of is, will it be one tax per item or one tax per person on the trust?

I assume per item unless they issue a stamp for each person. Imagine a public corp with like 100 "responsible persons" as defined by the NFA. Shit gets impractical.

Impractical sounds like SOP for the govt. Look at how the shot has been going for years.

I can't guarantee anything as an observer and non-lawmaker looking in. All I can do is make assumptions based on what I have seen and heard. I have been wrong and I have been right, but on this it really is difficult to speculate.

A tax per person sounds more like a "fine" then a tax. Almost like charging sales tax to each person that gets behind the wheel of a single car/truck.

Either way, we all know that they are trying to fix problems that don't exist and will not be satisfied until we are relegated to turning in our guns or risk the possibility to be a felon tossed under the jail.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

There are companies working on materials that can be sintered to a finer hardness after being printed. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

I suppose we will know at the end of the 90 day evaluation period.

The more I think about it, I'm thinking they'll do tax per person and not just per item.
