It is actually written into the 1934 bill that a trust and corp are legitimate ways to buy NFA stuff. Way I understand it is that it would actually take an act of congress to change the law.

If they somehow plug the trust "loophole" then just form a shell corp and deal with the filing fees.

With this administration and congress I wouldn't be surprised to see them fuck up the legislation to the point that every military, cia, fbi, aft, and secret service member has to get printed, go through the nfa process, and then be required to keep the tax stamps on them while on duty.

New York did go full retard and fail to exempt law enforcement from their new mag ban. Like I said, it would not surprise me to see something like that happen again.

I never said they didn't. My point is that legislatures at both state and federal levels, especially recently, have been prone to writting and passing legislation without knowing what it is they just passed. NY had to call another session just to exempt law enforcement from their new law. The incompetence in government is growing exponentially, and there is not much that would surprise me these days.
