What the hell is going on with Form 3's?

My form 3 came back in on Friday, just FYI for anyone interested.

So 06/02 suppressor was manufactured and form 3 was submitted to ATF, received back 09/02. That's 3 months on the dot for a form 3, which use to take a week or two just a few months ago. So 3 months on form 3, 2-3 months to go into pending status, 9 months before approved. 3+3+9 = 15 month transfer on any suppressor.

I see that you blacked out the serial number on the form. You do realize that the serial number is printed right on the stamp as well?

My checks cashed the end of January so I should be right there too. I really need to remember to call tomorrow when they open up. I can not wait to install rifle buffer tubes and stocks on my 2 SBRs. Fun, Fun, Fun with NFA items.

Thanks Keith. When I first put work in the mail, I thought 6-9 months was going to take forever and to be honest, I hadn't really noticed it passed. I picked up the lower that was built with and looked at the cheap Aim Surplus stock I had for it and said to myself, "I need to UBR this bitch".

The UBR is nice. It is heavy though. I have one on my 16" gas piston S&W.

I have a few STRs and CTRs along with some simple 6pos stocks I can swap around to see what I like best for my two when the stamps come in.

When I did mine last June, the manufacturer told me it'd take about a month and it actually took about 45 days.

My dealer supposedly sent mine in on 5/28 and I've not heard anything. Hopefully soon.

Get a shrike. 5k rounds through a bunch of 30rnd mags or beta dumps will get boring. A shrike keeps it fun.

That is what I am having a hard time understanding. Everytime I call I think I get a different answer now.

+90days now? doesn't sound right but whatever. I will call them in October and ask again.
