They got 4 cases of that stuff (25 boxes per case) on Thursday too. They also got 10 boxes of Remington .22 LR 525 count and 10 boxes of Winchester white box 9mm 100 count.

lol no. That would be a long journey just for some 5.56 ammo.

hunting season is just 4 weeks away. I have a feeling this shortage may get worse. all i want are shotgun shells, they always go on sale the last week before dove season starts.

$.50/round is still too damn high.

                      That's why I passed.

Ditto. I ain't hungry for them yet and I don't need to pay that much. I'm finding handgun ammo for near normal prices, $0.36/rnd.

I thought 50 cents a round for brass casing was good, lol I know you can get a box of steel case for 6-7 bucks. I guess you live and learn. I jumped on it because I only had 150 rounds and I payed 20 bucks a box at wal mart for Varmit-X ammo.

Its good compared to the rape of $1/rnd but before Sandy Hook, brass 20 rounds was 6-7 bucks.

PMC Bronze has been running $8.99 for 20rds at Cabelas, and they usually have some on hand.
