Sounds like too much bullshit to worry about carrying. If shit is that bad their getting hit with 185gr of lead not a stick that I have to be in even closer to use.

      Thanks.

I wonder what prompted the change? Maybe we can get bowie knives off the list as well.

Liner locks aren't what you want, dude. They wear out too fast, and when they fail, you run the risk of needing to grow new fingers.

Ive decided on the benchmade 5000 presidio. Now I just gotta save my pennies.

Ill agree with the liner locks, My s30v kershaw blur is a liner lock and it scared the crap out of me, so its only used for simple tasks.

Yeah the federal switchblade laws are pretty shitty.

Got one of these on the way. I wanted the black coated blade, but they discontinued it, and no dealer in the state has one.

Very nice! Love the Benchmades. I'm thinking about ordering a Microtech Ultratech OTF pretty soon. They are just damn sexy and get great reviews from what I've seen.

Be glad you didn't get the black blade. It would look like shit in no time!

Microtechs are nice, but the actuation it VERY heavy! I prefer my Benchmade OTF. it's like butter! But I don't dare carry it as it's double edged

I had a Microtech Kestrel and was not a fan, opened it a few times then sold it. I like my manual flippers, I just bought a Chris Reeve Sebenza 25 and it is by far the best blade I own.

My personal favorite is my kershaw ram flipper.
