It will be a benchmade, not sure on the model yet. I hate having to take my gloves off in the winter when im working to open my knife.Even with the assisted kershaw it has a liner lock thats a pita.

They're legal starting September 1. I guess until then you could still be arrested for a prohibited weapon.

In May they passed a law that said switch blades will no longer be illegal/prohibited weapons. Perry signed it in June. Goes into effect September 1.

                  Hb 1862 I believe.

Right now they're legal to own but not legal to carry.

My law went into effect july 1st 2013.

There are a slew of states making them legal to own and carry.

                          My daily carry knife:

Slim enough to fit in my back pocket and not be uncomfortable. Only thing I don't like about it is that it's not a liner lock.

So we can carry concealed weapons (even 2 or 3 if we feel like it) and soon switchblades, but we can't carry collapsible batons?

Let's see...gun - lethal...knife - mostly lethal...baton - not so lethal unless you crack em in the head.

                              a Knife is a tool...

why would you want to carry a collapsible baton if you can carry a pistol?

Just the ability to have a choice in personal defense weapons, kind of a list of "how bad I am going to mess you up if you try to jack with me" list.
