so with the first part of the season wrapping up in a few days, how did everyone do?

The lease I was on consisted of about 10 fields to choose from that were between Pilot Point and Celina. Unless the birds were scarce everywhere, I think there was just too many milo and wheat fields in that area. Seems like the birds had a lot of options for food and didn't have to travel far to get it.

I seen a monster 11 point buck early this morning just chillin in the street. I stopped let out a few grunt calls. It sniffed around for about 5 minutes then slowly turned and walked away. Sucks I live in the city or he would be in the freezer.

Most city's have urban hunts CC. Up here the deer populations get outta control inside city limits.

They need an urban hunt in this city bad everyday there is a new deer carcass on the side of the road. Around here you have to have 10 acres to hunt. You can't discharge a gun or bow inside city limits.

This year was shit for dove. About 1/3 of what I usually see. They either flew early or late this year.

We had good luck up here. The numbers just fell off around 3 weeks ago.
