I have had NO luck getting anything online, so this morning I got up at about 3:00 AM dragged my wife out of bed, and started hitting the local Walmarts. Between us, we were able to CCI 100 rd Minimags x2 at one Wallyworld, Winchester 333 rd White box x2 at another, then CCI 100 rd Minimags x6 at another Wallyworld. Coupled with the Federal American Eagles 50rd x6 from Academy in the last two days, I'm now back over 1700 rounds.

At each stop, there was a line formed, most of the places were the same guys at each place. One Wallyworld placed new ammo out at 6:00 am, one at 7:00, and the other at 8:00. Academy opened at 8:00 as well. My wife and I were number four and five in line at three spots, and by the time each spot placed ammo or opened, there were about 20 people inline. It is crazy.

I guess the .22 short ammo I have is worth its weight in gold.

I'm not hording it or anything, it is just that at least 5 people are plinking with a couple of semiautomatic rifles and pistols, it doesn't take long to go through them. As I have already posted, we used up the small reserve I had last weekend.

And as I said, I have had zero luck catching bulk ammo online in stock, so I had to resort to running around for three hours this morning. I didn't want to disappoint my kiddos this coming weekend.

We are about to head to Shreveport to see if we can pick up some magazines at the gun show.

I'm probably more upset about the deal than you, as I was the front man on this , and have talked to the guy numerous times about sending you a thank you for your gift. Don't blame you for being pissed on not getting a thank you, but don't accuse me of lying and theft!
I will replace the ammo...

I know it had nothing to do with you. It went smoothly between me and you, but the guy should have acknowledged that the troop got them especially in the volatile market timing that they were sent. He definitely screwed you on this deal.
